Sheraton Carlsbad Resort & Spa, Carlsbad

Our stay was quite an adventure, especially with little ones in tow. The kids loved the pool area, especially the water slide, making it a hit for families. However, the rooms felt somewhat outdated and not as spacious as we anticipated, and there were some hiccups with service during peak times. Overall, it’s a good option for families looking for a fun atmosphere, but don’t expect luxury facilities.

We enjoyed our stay at the Sheraton Carlsbad, especially since it was perfect for our family trip to Legoland. The clean and spacious rooms allowed us to relax, and we appreciated the excellent pool facilities, particularly the fun water slide. However, we were disappointed that the pool was unexpectedly closed, as it was one of our main reasons for choosing this hotel. Additionally, the dining options were satisfactory, but some services like drinks weren't as efficient as we had hoped.

We had a wonderful time at the Sheraton Carlsbad during our family trip. The hotel is perfectly located near Legoland, making it super convenient for our kids. The staff was welcoming, and the pool area was definitely a highlight for the kids. We did encounter some service inconsistencies during our stay, particularly with wait times for additional towels, which was a bit frustrating. Overall, it was a great experience, but there’s some room for improvement with the service.

The hotel has a strikingly beautiful building and a great pool area that kids absolutely love, especially with fun evening activities by the pool. The dining experience was a letdown, particularly with the limited breakfast options and issues with billing that left a bad taste.

I had high hopes for this hotel, especially given its proximity to LEGOLAND, but my experience was mixed. The location is definitely a win for families visiting the park, and the pool area was enjoyable for the kids. However, my experience with the rooms and the service left much to be desired. After a long travel day, checking in to a room that wasn't ready was frustrating, and the lack of prompt service when issues arose made things worse.
